Clean energy needs swagger

If there is one thing clean energy needs, it's swagger.

Clean energy is now cheap. It's getting cheaper and cheaper by the day. This should be the most exciting news story out there.

Problem is, it isn't. If you're reading this, you probably already know how cheap solar, wind and batteries have gotten. But aside from energy insiders, most people just do not know this yet. You can't blame them; clean energy was not cheap for most of its history. Solar, wind and batteries in the 1990s-2000s were Whole Foods; in the 2010s they became Trader Joe's; in the 2020s, Costco. In 2030, they'll be even cheaper.

Amped On lets you wear this good news on your sleeve. Literally. Whatever specifically makes you excited about clean energy, what will make most people out there excited is this: It. Is. Cheap. Now.

Why I started this

I live in Harrisburg, PA. As an entrepreneur and attorney in clean energy, I think about this stuff all the time. Most of my neighbors don't, of course. But most people do relish the thrill of never worrying about a power outage; the money and time saved from never needing an oil change; the satisfaction of watching your own roof save you money while you go about your day. They just don't think of any of that as "clean energy."

I started Amped On in September 2026 to help bridge this gap. Wear this stuff and spark some conversations, especially with the people in your life who aren't energy nerds. Get knowing chuckles from some; curious glances from others. Maybe even some clean energy swagger.
